My sister, the Bird.

Folks always ask me what it's like to have a twin. I never know how to answer that question as it is the only thing I have ever known. In the madness that this world, she is my own consistency. If everyone had a bird like her in their life, the world would be a much fuller, happier place.

arm warmers

Brittany has quickly taken to stealing arm warmers from my collection. At least she has a manicure to go with them! Ohhh the joys of being a cosmetologist.

Flower Scarf

I don't venture into the scarf realm often, but after creating this template, I may change my ways.

Wine Carry-Alongs

I can't wait to take this tote along wine tasting this fall! Just take it with you and fill you as you go!

Playing Dress Up

Our (one day) sons have no hope if this is just what Kasey Jo and I do to our dogs! What? We thought he looked good in orange!

Computer Cover

I have this theory that I can crochet over anything that I own. This computer cover is proof that, yes, I am accomplishing life goals.

Hats! Hats for Sale!

Growing up, I had no idea that one of my favorite books, "Hats for Sale" would eventually become the biography of my life! Nonetheless, here are some of the newest hats I have in stock.

Blankets

This blanket officially solidifies any accusations that have been made as to my grandmotherly status in our pop culture society. I've accepted it.

Ok, ok, I admit it! I actually like Espn! It may have taken a little bit of time and a lot of patience, but I can confidently say that I love this notoriously naughty dog now! But who couldn't?! Besides my hats, he's one of my must have accessories this fall!!

Ham"mock"ing with Kasey

Even this Spartan had to agree that this blue hat was pretty cute! Don't worry Gray Family she's been laying on the green pretty thick in her "house divided" this week. But I couldn't resist laughing at her when she put on the blue with her favored green t-shirt. Her fashion may be the only compromise we see this week.

Festival of the Koozies

These koozies are made from all recycled materials. Who can feel bad about drinking when you're saving the world from excess garbage?

Feel free to donate your grocery bags my way.

Wine Tote

Wine tote made from plastic bags--- spill and stain proof (not that I know anyone who would spill wine...)

I didn't remember Crissy wearing my Stem Scarf to St Patty's last year-- but then again, there are a lot things about St. Patty's Day last year I don't remember...

It just so happened that one day, while living in Atlanta, Fall actually came! Granted it was February, but that didn't matter! Avery and I were so excited about the air that we spent the afternoon walking outdoors, looking at fallen leaves, bugs and anything else that a three year old finds of interest (the list is very long!!). But, the wind came out and the sun disappeared and our Fall day turned much colder, much faster than we thought it would. She stole my hat and wore it for the rest of the afternoon--nothing would ruin her day out! Here, she poses for a picture with a fishing pole and her too big hat-- proving that it wasn't what you wear, but how you wear it that matters!

Reusable Wine Tote

While watching the news the other night, I saw a 98 year old woman who made hats from plastic bags. Completely inspired by her, I took her ideas and ran with them! These reusable wine totes made completely from plastic bags-- possibly my favorite creation to date! It's been awesome to take to the grocery store or the farmers market!

Arm Warmers!!

My freshman year of college, I insisted on cutting old socks and wearing them on my arms as a means of staying warm. Well, I am happy to tell everyone that my dirty sock masterpieces are now a thing of the past! With my new creation of arm warmers, it's easy to sign receipts, find my car keys, shift my Subaru!! and dial my phone without having to take on and off a pair mittens! Perfect for any cold blooded multi-tasker, like myself.

Head Bands

Children have an keen eye for color association. When Maggie, (a four year old, like no other four year olds) saw this headband she ripped it from me and declared that "it should be thrown away." While the Wolverines weren't quite what I was thinking when I made this, she was quite insulted by by decision. I think, however, that I saw a tear of pride fall from her proud Spartan of Mother.

Men's Hats

I have recently ventured in the realm of men's wear.... What? Boys don't like bows and ribbons ? That's just crazy!!

Women's Hats

It's almost impossible to house these hats without wanting to wear them each morning. Someone buy them and save me from my own collection!

Green Hats

These children's hats are part of my green line (and are all, conveniently, for sale!)

Baby Hats

Since this was the summer of weddings, I am hoping that soon it will be the season for baby hats. No pressure all of my married friends-- no pressure.
